UnLtd Awards – Funding for Social Enterprises to Setup & Grow

UnLtd aims to find, fund and support social entrepreneurs – enterprising people with solutions that change our society for the better. Their awards offer both funding and support to social entrepreneurs trying to start-up or grow their social business.

This support includes grants and investment, as well as one-to-one coaching and guidance, mentorship and legal advice opportunities. The funding covers two scenarios:

1. Starting your social business: UnLtd can support people from the early stages of forming an idea, to those who have been trading for under a year, whether or not you have already established your organisation. This includes exploring ways to increase your impact, establish your financial sustainability and grow as a social leader. Grants available up to £5,000.
2. Scaling up: Your social business has been running over a year and under 4 years, is making a positive difference and you have compelling evidence of your impact. You are looking for support to realise your potential to grow your impact and expand. Grants available up to £15,000.

Q2 applications are being accepted until June 30th with a decision expected week commencing September 26th
Q3 applications are being accepted until September 30th with a decision expected week commencing December 12th

In addition to their Awards, UnLtd have two focus areas where they think social entrepreneurs can make a big difference. They have dedicated teams and specialist support available to social entrepreneurs with ideas to help people in these areas:

Healthy Ageing – over the next five years we want to improve the health and wellbeing of 135,000 marginalised older adults in the UK, and reduce health inequalities.
Access to employment – you have a business idea aimed at helping people into good jobs and meaningful employment, particularly those who are currently denied those opportunities.
