Leading Together is organising its 2nd annual festival in July 2022. Last year they welcomed over 3000 people from across Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Integrated Care System to a diverse range of sessions. The festive aims will again be focused on encouraging the care and health workforce to reconnect to their professional development and well-being.
This year they hope to continue the opportunity to develop and reflect together. To pause and take stock around the themes of The People Promise rainbow.
It’s a chance to think about what it means to work in care and health. How to care workers can support each other and how they can support those using health services.
Threaded throughout the festival will be their aim to continue the dialogue around embedding an inclusive and compassionate culture. It will also be about civility and well-being. The sessions will encourage the care and health workforce and volunteers to collaborate and share learning and ideas. It will build a sense of partnership and collaboration, recognising everyone can see all work together towards common goals.
All past evidence suggests that collaborative, diverse, inclusive and compassionate leadership enables care and health staff and volunteers to do their best work. Supporting people to share learning brings innovation and helps develop opportunities to create effective team-based working within and across traditional organisational and sector boundaries.
The CPFT Leading Together Festival will host approx. Twenty-five sessions are scheduled throughout July 2022, covering topics including ‘Saying No with Empathy & Compassion’; ‘Creative Coaching’; What does ICS actual mean? and ‘Image, Impact & Influence’ – check out the Eventbrite home page here for more details on all the available sessions.
