Home-Start Cambridgeshire are recruiting a part-time Coordinator to work mainly with families in and around Cambridge.
Hours of work: 30 hours per week, with some flexibility about days and hours of work.
Salary: Starting salary based on a full-time (37-hour) equivalent of £20,661 per annum.
The post-holder will work within a team of coordinators covering the whole of the county.
The key responsibilities of the role are:
- to recruit, train, supervise and support a team of Home-Start family-visiting volunteers
- to work mainly with families within the Cambridge and South Cambs area
- to liaise with partners and attend multi-agency meetings
They are looking for a well-organised person familiar with office systems who can demonstrate empathy and good communication and interpersonal skills. Experience of working with vulnerable families, parenting
experience and knowledge of the voluntary sector are not required but would be advantageous. Use of own car (insured for business use) and clean driving licence are required; travel expenses other than from home
to base will be reimbursed.
