Are you interested in a key role in our new Social Care Pilot?

We are looking to recruit Neighbourhood Cares Workers who will take forward The Neighbourhood Cares Transformation Pilot, a new approach to social work in Soham, Cambridgeshire.

We are creating a self-managing team providing preventative, flexible and responsive care and support which builds on natural community networks, assets and strengths to develop local solutions around adults and older people’s needs in a way they can relate to.

Applying Buurtzorg Principles, the team will adopt the Transforming Lives approach to working with individuals, carers, families and the community to create solutions that support adults and older people to maintain their independence and meet their aspirations.

You will be a person centred, resilient team leader/member, politically astute with exceptional communication skills and a ‘can do’ attitude, who thrives on challenge and is committed to partnership working of the highest standard.

If you have a knowledge of social care legislation, policy and guidance and knowledge and experience of multi-agency working with partner organisations and want to be part of an exciting new initiative we’d like to hear from you.

We are looking to recruit a team based in the community of Soham initially for an 18 month period but with the possibility of becoming a permanent arrangement.

The positions are full time, 37 hours a week, but we would also consider part-time hours.

Closing date of applications for this post 19th July 12.00.

Interviews and assessments will be held on 27th July in Soham or Ely.

For an informal discussion or to register for a place at the open day, please contact Louise Tranham on 01223 729139 or 07909687717 or email Louise.tranham@cambridgeshire.gov.uk
