This half day workshop has been specifically designed for community group trustees who are new to the role, or who have been trustees for some time, but would benefit from revising some of the key trustee roles and responsibilities. It is FREE to any community organisation operating within the county of Cambridgeshire.

What will it cover?
This workshop will provide trustees with an overview of their role and the responsibilities including:
What Public Benefit means and how that makes an organisation charitable.
Roles and responsibilities of Trustees.
Safeguarding the charity’s values, aims and objectives.
How Trustees should manage strategic decision making, including budgets, finance and policies.

What to expect?
Our workshops will be a mixture of presentations, group exercises/ activities and discussion with people able to ask questions, share examples and experiences.
