As part of the Support Cambridgeshire project Cambridgeshire ACRE are repeating their highly successful ‘Mythbuster’ tours from 2014 and 2015 on the subject of Affordable Housing.

The tour is primarily aimed at Parish Councillors and District Councillors with an interest in how affordable housing can support and sustain the vibrancy of their community.

The half day event will include:

  •  Introductory welcome and presentation from Mark Deas (Cambridgeshire ACRE) and a representative from Huntingdonshire District Council.
  • A tour of local rural exception sites with opportunities to stop off and look around schemes in Warboys, Swavesey, Earith, Colne and Needingworth.
  • The chance to discuss the schemes and broader rural affordable housing issues with senior staff from Huntingdonshire District Council and local housing associations.
  • Lunch at Warboys Parish Centre catered for by the Windmill Bakery.
