Cambridgeshire ACRE helps volunteers celebrate National Trustees Week

Cambridgeshire ACRE runs regular coffee morning events which give the County’s village hall trustees an opportunity to come together to learn from each other and to share best practice and other information.

One of the most recent events took place at Papworth Everard fire station in November. Normally events take place in village halls but this one took place in the fire station to accommodate a special training session on fire safety in village halls delivered by Technical Fire Safety and Community Fire Safety Officers.

The event was held during National Trustees’ Week so Cambridgeshire ACRE took the opportunity to recognise the hard work and dedication of trustees, particularly in village halls, who do so much for their communities. A special cake was provided to mark the occasion.

The Coffee Mornings, organised by Cambridgeshire ACRE, are a great opportunity for trustees to meet and network, with each event visiting a different venue around the County, and providing a chance for informal discussion and learning and to share ideas and good practice.
